X Music Studio

Professional music engraving, digital score publishing, and custom composition.

What we do

X Music Studio is the official creative and technical studio of Open Sheet Music, Inc. We specialize in publication-grade score engraving, digital score publishing, original and custom compositions, and music technology: score scanning, a Guqin jianzi typeface, and Jianpu-to-staff conversion. Digital products are sold in the catalog; commissioned engraving is quoted per project.

Commissioned engraving Publication-quality full scores and instrumental parts for publishers, composers, and ensembles. Sibelius is the default; Finale or MuseScore may be specified. Quoted per project. Composition and arrangement Original works and custom arrangements crafted by our studio. Available as high-quality digital audio for personal listening or commercial licensing. Digital score publishing Issued by title as Open Sheet Music: one product page per work. Each title is offered in multiple formats—typically PDF, MusicXML, and MIDI—and in additional keys where the work calls for them. Music technology Coming soon: Jianpu-to-staff conversion, a Guqin jianzi typeface, and a scrolling score. Write if you want to be notified when a tool is released.
